Duncan left Scotland for warm weather training in Tenerife. A good number of the Scottish squad were there too, topping up the tans!
Whilst he was away he appeared as a question/picture on Question of Sport and his biography was updated on the British Swimming site.
January will finish with a competition in Luxembourg.
Duncan flew out on the Thursday and swam the 200 Butterfly heats on the Friday night. He qualified fastest for the Final. Saturday was the 200 Freestyle again qualifying fastest for the final. Duncan executed the race brilliantly and finished first with an early season time of 1.47.94. He later swam to silver in the 200 fly and broke his personal best with 1.59.33.
Sunday was the 100 free. Through fastest for the final – Gold again and a lovely time of 48.75. Proving once more why he is the British champion.
