Duncan Scott flew off to Beziers, France for Canet en Rousillion part 2 of the Mare Nostrum. The Mare Nostrum takes place every year in Monaco, Canet and Barcelona. Duncan would be swimming for Stirling University in Canet and then join Team GB in Barcelona for the final leg. Swimmers come from all round the world as it is such a prestigious event. This year was no different with swimmers from Canada, Brazil Japan, South Africa and a swathe from Europe.
June 8th 50 Free heats am 23.30 and made the B final finishing with 23.31
June 11th Duncan swam the 100 free 49.52 in the heats followed by 49.66 in the A final to take silver
June 12th Duncan swam a great heats in the 200 Free 1.47.91 to be lined 2nd for the final.
He finished 4th with 1.47.73, super time swimming with James Guy Chad le Clos and Kosuke Hagino
