Duncan travelled to Edinburgh with Stirling University swim team to compete at the Commie pool the same weekend at the France Scotland Rugby. Edinburgh had a European feel to it and the pool had too. An incredible array of world class swimmers competed in a pre - British Rio trials completion.
Day 1 Duncan tested himself in the 100 free safely through to the finals. He improved his morning heats time to take silver. As at the end of the completion he was ranked 3rd in GB.
Day 2 200IM Again through to the finals with 2.07.36. He improved this with a 2.02.79. He led the first 100 and looks strong for trials in April. Lying 2nd in GB
Day 3 200 Free Last event of the morning. Duncan qualified third with 1.49.65. In the finals he led from the start, just like the European games, but fell away in the final 50m to finish with a 1.50.08. Still has him ranked 4th in GB behind James Guy, Stephen Milne and Nick Grainger.
