A busy month competitions in Edinburgh and Copenhagen.
Duncan took the 200IM title. He rested from a variety of swims knowing he had the Europeans a few days later. When you aren’t 100%, you know it.
Duncan joined the 9 swimmers of the British team in Copenhagen for his first International Short Course competition.

Duncan is an ambassador for Scottish water and regularly appears at swimming pools to encourage children to swim. He appeared in the Scottish parliament to speak re the learn to swim programmes.
We must not forget BUCs ( British Universities Short Course Competition) in Sheffield.

The night of the 21/9/17 Duncan was through in Edinburgh to the EICC for the Team Scotland awards. We were delighted that sister Alexandria accompanied him.He was up against tough completion with Andy Murray, Calum Hawkins and Josh Taylor but the swimmer won the Male athlete of the year. What an accolade and to have the prize presented by Katherine Grainger.

Duncan swam at the British Championships in Sheffield in April and secured a place in the British team by swimming a new British record in the 100 Freestyle. His time had him ranked fastest in the world in 2017. (47.90)
Duncan had a busy week starting on Monday 24th with the 200 Freestyle heats and semis in the evening. His time in the semis had him ranked 1st for the final on the Tuesday with a PB of 1.45.16

Another nomination another award, as Duncan was unable to attend his sister, Alexandria, president of the University of Dundee Sports Union, picked up his award.

Duncan competed at the British Championships in Sheffield
Whilst most swimmers were in the water, Duncan was signing autographs for swimming fans.
The following day he started with 200 Fly – great PB and a bronze podium position 1.57.50

Speedo signs Duncan Scott who is delighted to have gained their support.
Its early in the season and Duncan is lying 3rd in the world for the 200 Free and 6th in the world for the 100 Free, 7th in the 200IM.
